another life update, and Anna and the French Kiss!

Hello.
I know.
I am such an inconsistent blogger.
However, there are such reasoning's behind my lack of posting and preparation.
I am moving! Yay!
I'm not going to post too much at the moment, as I have a post about it coming soon, but it means my life is currently being packed up in boxes, and I spend all my time packing those boxes. I have lived in my house since I was 3 so it's quite strange, and I've really come to realise how much of my stuff I don't need. Oops.

Anyway. Due to being a busy bee, I haven't been able to do much reading, which makes me sad.
I received a copy of Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins from Usborne not that long ago, after winning it in a Goodreads giveaway (yay!). Due to being so busy, I haven't been able to read much of it yet, but I saw it in the bookshop today, and once this post is up, I'm off to finish it!. Let me know if you've read/are currently reading it, and what your thoughts are!

I thought it was so cute that it came with a little hot chocolate sachet, yum yum! That reminds me, the kettle's just boiled, so I'm off to make a brew, and enjoy this little gem!

What are you reading right now?
Anything to recommend?
Let me know!

  1. Haven't read this one yet, it seems like a fun light book to read though. I'm currently reading Water's Edge by Robert Whitlow which is a suspense novel about a small town with a big secret. I'm liking it so far. Are you also doing the Reading Challenge on Goodreads?

    1. That book looks really interesting! I am taking part in the reading challenge, I set myself 50 books but I'm a bit behind. Have you set yourself one?

  2. Aw so cute that it came with a hot chocolate! I've just finished reading Carrie by Stephen King, not usually a fan of horror books but it was quite good

    1. I'm not really a fan of horror, but have considered looking into some horror books, and breaching out of the comfort zone of my normal type of books :)

  3. How'd you like Anna? I think I read it all in one go and with a goofy smile on my face ;)

    1. I really liked the book! I think at times, it was a bit predictable, but it was enjoyable all the same :)
